Important Notice Regarding Demo Submissions
Before submitting your demo track, please ensure it is your original work. Under no circumstances will remixes or cover versions of tracks by other artists or labels be considered for release.
If your demo includes vocals, kindly specify whether the track is a collaboration with a vocalist or if you purchased the vocals from a platform such as Splice. Should you use purchased vocals, please confirm you possess the necessary license document authorizing the release of the track with those vocals.
Why We Don't Release Remixes and Cover Versions
We cannot legally release remixes of existing tracks because copyright always remains with the original author or the label that issued the original track. Remixes and cover versions can only be released with the valid, contractual consent of the original label that released the original mix.
Why Licenses Are Required for Vocal Tracks
To protect our artists and our label from third-party copyright claims, it’s essential to have a vocal track contractually or licensing protected. Without a proper license, some distribution platforms may flag the vocal content as matching existing material. If you don’t own the necessary license, your entire release could be removed from sale, or the original author or vocalist may demand financial compensation for copyright infringement.
